Dark Dollhouse

So I bought this pack of 10 really cheap knitting yarns before Christmas with various colours and textures in it.

Two of these have now turned into respectively a short jacket with attached daggers and a long gilet both with hoods and inspired me to make two cyberpunk Unoas Raz and Daz.
One is a Street Samurai with magical abilities and the other one is a Street Hacker with paranormal abilities.

This is the short jacket with the daggers flat and worn by Cinnamon – well – she is my favourite girl ^^

So, have gone on the hunt for wigs and eyes and located both after some major struggling – why is all the stuff you want always sold out???

Pink and Green bob wigs found on Ebay with Linny’s help – I am apparently useless in finding anything on there.

Hair extensions in Yellow and Olive found at My little customs to add to the bobs to make them a little more interesting and cyberpunky.

And just remembered, bought some plastic tubing for making bracelets, think that would work well in the wigs as well. Have to dig that out.

Eyes had to be ordered from Masterpiece as I just could not find anything on the MP or any of the other respective doll sites that had any resemblance to the picture I have in my head of what they should look like. I am not sure they still are right but will find out once they arrive – Microchip and Metallic Fuchsia with feline pupil.

Fabric for clothes and accessories like belts and arm protectors is almost sorted and will be making boots for one myself using the Unoa sole option parts and the other will just have the high heel option. And got my mini eyelets and setters so all good to go for the corset part that one of them shall be wearing. And for boots.

Their faces will be customized sleeping Lusis and Sist faceplates so they get the asian look. Already sketched them out in pencil, still a little scared to actually start drilling.

And have bought some coloured eyelashes… hope it works… If not, will just leave them without. Not a big fan of lashes but might look good. We shall see…

Think that is it for now – now just for waiting getting it all home and see if it fits – if not – pooh!

It looks really good in my head but that does not mean it will when it is finished… Just hope all the colours actually match when the stuff arrives!!! Watch this space ^^

Office was closed today due to snow so had an unofficial day off!

Maybe a good thing since I got this nasty cold I cannot seem to shake.

Anyway, really wanted to make a photo shoot outside in the snow but this proved really difficult as the snow kept coming, and a lot of it.

So as the day passed by and the light with it the snow got less heavy and I finally got myself outside and with the help of hubby and a couple of large umbrellas, managed to get a couple of photos.

Unfortunately the light kinda went + underneath the entrance cover thingy due to the snowfall so they are a bit rubbish. Shame.

And now my neighbours think I am mental playing around in the snow with dollies lol!

Keeping my hands busy while watching the news ^^

Had a bundle of grey yarn lying around from forever so decided to turn it into something wintery for Cinnamon.

So it turned into a long sweater and a funky cap. Had enough leftover to make another cap that I am putting up for sale.

Nice and warm for winter – maybe she needs some warmer leggings though lol.

Found her on YHJ! – Made a bid through one of the shopping services and had it cancelled.

Stress!!!

Never seen one before and might never again so had to think quick – contacted some of the DOA members I had seen before around the forum to see if they would act as a deputy service on this auction – and was in luck!

So sent of my money and wished for the best.

Seller cancelled a couple of other bidders and we were left as last man standing!!!

Never thought I would own one of these but here she is – part of my ever growing Unoa gang.

She is a little yellow but guess that cannot be helped after five years on her resin… She is still beautiful. Named her Pris after the Replicant in Bladerunner – planning same kinda faceup. Hope she does not start kicking though

Cinnamon sneaked her way in on this one as well – guess it cannot be helped – she was the first to arrive so guess she has special privileges ^^

Used: 2 packs of gauze, 1 knife for cutting them into small strips, 1 hour to wrap.

Arrived at the South Bank Centre little over 12 completely forgetting that everyone was meeting at Embankment station at 12 DOH!

Oh well, went to the fourth floor and the first person I saw was grumpy man from last time!!! Wauw. Thought he was gonna be a real pain, same as last time, but apparently he was in a better mood this time around. Maybe because it was such a nice weather outside?

Anyways, waited around for half an hour before people started showing up and in that time he was playing really loud music? and burping out loud!? Bizarre…

Earlier this week met up with some friends and one had not seen this site yet, so showed her and she seemed really interested. Told her about meet today and she came by. Think we might have a potential new meet member ^^

…She might be right – I am very very tempted after seing Tatiana today but I would go for the Pierrot version though – they are just adorable and I really like their body sculpts. They actually got hips!

Got a request for a pic of the red pleated skirt up for sale on DOA so thought, hey, why not do some pics – opportunity to try on new Dollmore wig as well.

This might be the first and the last time Cinnamon will be looking like this ^^ Her style is a bit more on the wild side and less ‘afternoon’ tea like.

Still think she looks rather good – think she would be able to sneak in…
