I enjoyed your thorough blog post (w/Rob) on Tokyo-on-da-cheap. Do it that way next time, too. In fact, by then, I’ll have talked u and Robert into spending more time in Kansai – just so you see what I like here, and we get more time with you two. For starters, you might look into the Japan Sea coast, like Tottori (I lived there a year) and Himeji (its got the castle featured in Tom Cruise’s The Last Samurai). You can actually walk through the castle, and you’ll trust me on this, WAY more fastinating than Osaka Castle, inside especially.

Had a nice time talking to you as well! I’m so darn shy so I’m having a hard time talking to people I don’t know. And yes, I’m moving to London soon, so we’ll definitely meet again in the future, hopefully in August! Thanks for a lovely meet anyway!
